History of Pipe Wrench

Pipe wrenches are tools for operating soft iron pipes and rounded joints which are used in houses commonly for water supply purposes. The first pipe wrench was made and invented by a Swedish, Johan Petter Johansson which was consisting of two jaws like pliers . Later on, he made an improved version with adjustable spanner.

Design of Wrench

The common wrenches of today consist of three parts, 2 jaws and a bolt to adjust jaw size. Different sizes of wrenches are available in market for different purposes. Like kitchen fittings and bathroom pipe fitting are operated oppositely. Aluminum Pipe Wrenches

These wrenches are designed for heavy duty work in less time because they are low weighted wrenches which require less force and provide greater results.
